Citation (rob fritz @ Jul 12 2011, 11:42 PM) WOO HOO !!! Someone else besides me and Scott made a posting here ! Thanks Boggy ! by the way, that is an Armagnac you mentioned correct ? Armagnac Marquis de Caussade is superb. Not yielding that fiery department as Delord VSOP which I acquired as well, but close and very comparable. In fact, it is more profound in the profile than cognac or better quality brandy. Whereas the first connotation cognac makes is an old aristocrat sitting in his palace, sipping golden liquid and discussing politics, armagnac-knowing its origins, brings us back to the times of knights having put their armour on were taking a crafty swig of liquid fire and getting ready for a crusade to bathe their swords with blood of the infidels-thus, making politics!
