I love absinthe art in all forms. It would be great to see what you all have out there!
Here is an original page from an 1867 issue of the newspaper le Charivari. Our skeletal absinthe lover is saying "They want to eliminate my absinthe! Bah! I shall always have the rifle ready!" At least that is what I believe he is saying, as mon français est très minimal! I would love to know more about this from those of you who may know something. Is this common? It is very cool, no matter what, and in very good condition.

Your translation is good. I did not know this drawing press, but I know that "Le Charivari" was a popular newspaper in the 19th century. I like this drawing
