"I really appreciate all that you've done for absinthe, the HG community, me... I just really don't feel comfortable here any more.

Fun for me was meeting others that I could connect with, who understood, in some ineffable way, why I enjoyed this. Other manic individuals that picked at the pieces for clues, but really, just sought simple inspiration. I've met people like this. Some that always have a recipe on their mind. Others who find themselves drunk now and then only because they like to watch an absinthe louche. They're people, just as I, that can't help but put their finger under the bec one - more - time.

I can always speak to these people. They are my fellows and my friends. Plainly stated, that's why I speak to them and not others. Being comfortable with them, I learn much more than my normal guardedness allows."
